Computer Studies 10

Students will:

  • learn how computers work
  • learn how the internet works
  • learn about hardware
  • learn the basics of programming
  • polish computer literacy
  • learn how to use apps that are common in the workplace
  • develop persuasive writing for the web

We’re living in a fast-paced environment where technological devices are being used for more reasons than ever. It doesn’t matter what type of work you’re doing, you’re likely to make use of a computer.  Computer skills are a valuable addition to any employee’s personal portfolio.

Open to all students in grades 10-12. Do not take this course if you already have credit in Digital Communications 11.
