This course is a concert band for woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Participants will develop practical instrumental skills, performance methods and music literacy. Quality music literature will be explored and performed throughout the year. Students are expected to provide their own instruments and accessories. This course is offered within the timetable, however extracurricular activities such as concerts will occur.  Students who have participated in middle school band are welcome to take this course in grade 9.  Students who have not participated in middle school band but would still like to join band 9 should sign up for Beginner Band 9.
