DUAL CREDIT COURSE
E-commerce 12(Mount Douglas)4 credits and Marketing 110 (Camosun College)4 credits for a total of 8 credits.
All material for both classes is online, and completed asynchronous(go at your own pace).
Note: Students must attend the physical classroom each day at MDSS.

E-commerce 12 (dual credit) 4 credits
Students will learn to create, develop, research, promote and sell products and services by applying various popular digital platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Weebly, TikTok, IG, YT. Additionally, we will closely examine the history, evolution, revenue(sales) models, the wide variety of ways business and consumers use ecommerce, including B2B,B2C,and C2C, the technological framework of platforms, security and e-marketing practices.

Marketing 110(dual credit) 4 credits
Students will explore Canadian and international marketing structures and techniques. Students will define and segment target markets, use planning and forecasting techniques, analyze the costs and benefits of the marketing mix, prepare and interpret introductory market research data, explore consumer behaviour and consumerism, and be introduced to industrial markets.
