Prerequisites: Mathematics 9 with 65 % or higher
This is an academic course for students continuing on in the Foundations of Mathematics pathway or entering the Pre-Calculus pathway.
Topics covered include: Number systems including rational and irrational subsets of Real Numbers, trigonometry involving compound applications, extending the exponent laws to rational exponents, operations with polynomials, factoring, relations and functions, linear functions, the equation of a line and systems of linear equations, solving systems of equations using various methods, sequences and series, and finance involving interest and income.
