This course is run in first semester and is designed for students who are still working on mastery of middle school math concepts. Students who are enrolled in Numeracy 9 will expand & improve their skill set with basic mathematics and hopefully increase their mathematical confidence.

Topics include: operations with integers, order of operations, fractions, decimals, equation solving, perimeter and area, and unit conversions.

Upon completion of Numeracy 9, students can enroll in Workplace and Mathematics 10, or, if they have done very well and are ready for a rigorous challenge, Math 9.
