If you are looking to focus on your mental and physical health and wellness, then this is the course for you. Students taking this course will experience the health benefits of yoga and develop personal well-being management skills – skills that will help you balance school, work and other life priorities.  Through yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, and mindfulness, students will learn about themselves, and how to identify and manage the things that trigger stress in their lives.

Whether you are looking to decrease stress or improve strength or increase happiness or decrease anxiety or develop focus or balance out intense physical training, Yoga for Mindfulness is a great place to start.


None. This course is open to all students. No experience necessary.


Each student is provided with a mat, blocks, bolster, blanket, and other yoga props.

Meet your Teacher:

Hi! My name is Mrs. Morson and I LOVE teaching Yoga for Mindfulness here at Mount Doug. I would be honoured to have you start or continue your yoga and mindfulness journey with me. I am BCRPA Yoga Fit and Fusion certified, I have my RYT-200 and am currently in training towards my RYT-500.
